Remote Agent Upgrade

I am about to upgrade from Backup Exec 9.0 to 10. In total I will have 6 server upgrades and approximately 50 remote agent upgrades. I have two questions.
1. Will upgrading to 10 require a reboot on 2000 and 2003 servers?

2. Can 9.1 remote agents be backed up with backup exec 10, so I don't have to do all the remote agents at one time?

1) should be OK, but schedule a reboot as soon as yo can.

2) v10 media servers can utilize a v9.1 RAWS
( http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/264484.htm ), but they don't mention v9.0

Has anyone tried 9.0 agents with Backup Exec 10?

Hello,

Please note BE version 9.0 , 9.1 licenses are not compatible with BE v10.0 and vice versa.
You need to purchase the new licenses for additional options for BE v10.0.

However, you will have to upgrdae the remote agent of BE v9.0 to use with BE v10.0.
