Remote Computer Backup

Actually we are using Backup Exce v10. I created a backup job for all presentes laptops and desktops here in the office. One of those laptops are currently outside of the office with the vendor but the same domain. The job recognize the laptop and try to make a remote backup and its taking a lot time. Has Back Exec V10 an option to bypass this??? Thanks
