Hi,
I have the following error message while performing back up on my local media server :
Error Code : 0xa000846b
Error Message : Device could not be backed up because an error occured while connecting to the remote agent
for windows server. Make sure the remote agent for windows server is running on the target
computer.
In the Event Log, I got the event ID 34113 returned.
What I have done :
1) Ensure the remote agent service is running with the administrator group.
2) Ensure the port 10000 is available.
3) Reinstall the backup exec.
as mentioned in some of the technical document. I have no problem of backing up files on other remote server except the local media server.
Any helps will be much appreciated.
