Remote agent license key

I am running bexec 9.1. I recently purchaced an additional remote agent license. THe new key is for version 10. Ver 9.1 will not accept the new key. My var said this would work. Please help. Do I have to upgrade to ver 10? if so...Why?

I am experiencing the same situation. I have a Backup Exec 9.0 and have purchased 3 agents(Disaster Recovery, Open Files e Lotus Domino).

I am interested on the answer too..

Backup Exec version 9.x and 10.0 licenses are not compatible with each other. Please contact Sales for licensing issues.
