Removable Storage Manager did not respond to a GatherWriterStatus call

Hello,

can anyone help,
i get this error in the event manager then backup fails

i have done the vssadmin writer checks and they are all come back with no errors, i have also rebuilt the database thats fine, i can run manual backup fine but schedual back ups is were i get this error

any one with any other suggestions

Take a backup with ntbackup to isolate teh cause of this issue.
