Restore Active:Queued to NDMP

PC-NET

I need help restoring from a One Time tape LTO-6 to NDMP.

All works with the wizard and testing credentials but it goes to Active:Queued.

Even with a tape in or out of the drive, it goes to Active:Queued.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
SV

...restore locally to the media server first and then copy to the NDMP device.

Thanks!

Thank you for replying.

This did not work. I get the follow error:

An invalid destination was specified for the redirected restore. NDMP backup sets can only be redirected to an NDMP server of the same brand.

Thanks

Here are 3 TNs to check out...see if they help you at all:

Are you restoring to the same type/brand of device?

Thanks!

Thank you for the post.

Everything is the same. It fails if I attempt the restore to the Windows Media Server with the above error so I know something is working.

It goes to Active:Queued immediately if I send it back to the Isilon (NDMP source). It never does anything else.

What else could I be doing wrong?

Thanks

Are there any prompts you need to respond too?

No, none at all. It just goes to Active:Queued.

I will try to catalog a tape and see what happens. Maybe I have a tape drive issue.

Thanks
