Currently, we have one Exchange Server running Exchange Server Enterprise 2003 SP2. All components (information store, mailboxes, public folders) on our Exchange server are backed-up every night using Backup Exec 11d 7170 and the Exchange Option. The actual Exchange EDB & STM files are not backed-up. Is there a way to redirect an Information Store (or a Mailbox backup) to an EDB file?
My end result is to restore the Information Store or Mailbox to an EDB then manually attach this database file to an Exchange Recovery Group using exmerge.exe.
