I just upgraded to 10.0 and have the Backup exec and SQL Server Agent on the same box as the SQL Server. Both use the local system account. I can backup fine, but when I went to test the restore, (redirected) I would get an error.
Restore 00021 -- The job failed with the
following error: Database Query Failure.
See the job log for details.
FailedRestore 00020 -- The job failed with the
following error: The resource could not be
restored because an error occurred while
connecting to the Backup Exec for
Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Make sure that the Remote Agent is
installed on the target computer and is
running.
When I did the upgrade I just followed the prompts.
