Restore of Lotus Notes database

Were trying to do a restore a Lotus Notes database and it failes with the following error: 0xa000e38e - Could not retrieve log extents needed for recovery. The backups are corrupt.

We have a weekly FULL backup and the rest of week we do incremental with transloggs.

If i do only restore from the full backup everything goes ok.
But i want restore from a newer (incremental) backup.

We are running on a Windows 2000 server with latest version of Backup Exec 9.1.

Whats could be wrong?

Hello,

Please refer to the following TechNote that is pertaining to your issue:
Event ID 58254: "Could not retrieve log extents needed for recovery. The backups are corrupt." is reported in the Event Log after a restore of a Lotus Notes database.
