Restoring a 3 tape set when 1st tape is missing

We have some critical data to restore and the first tape in the set is missing. It has probably been overwritten.
Is there any way to restore the data on the 2 remaining tapes? It seems like the first tape contains the index & when I try to restore it asks for the missing tape.

Untick the "use storage media-based catalogs" in the options. See the link below:
