Hi,
I am attempting to restore a corrupt exchange information store in sbs2003 using be 10 (priv1.edb). Everytime i have attempted the restore i get an error Resource Errors a000848c - unable to attach to one of the drives. I have checked all forums and have modified the settings for the firewall and increased the amount of ports, I have also setup port forwarding on the range 1000-1050. I have also been through the steps of confirming all authentication details. All jobs have been run under the administrator account who surely has sufficient rights to access the required data. I have also re-inventoried/cataloged the tapes which worked fine. I now have users wanting there email and i can see the exchange information store in backup exec but evey attempt i have to restore it fails. I have read comments that you have to go into the mailboxes first but that is not possicle if the exchange information store (priv1.edb) is down. If anyone has any ideas please please help.
