Restoring from Tape

Hi,

I would be very grateful if someone could help me? We have version 8.0 of veritas backup exec and we do a monthly backup of the whole system. My question is, how do i create a bootable floopy disk or CD or whatever to enable me to easily restore from the DAT backup I have?

You need to purchase the Add on Called IDR (Intelligent Disaster recovery)

But don't bother. You don't actually gain that much time, and ther fora are full of people who can't make it work to their satisfaction

Create an OS install disk with the latest SPs slipstreamed in
Install the OS
Install the RemoteAgnet
Restore
Boot.

Done
