Restoring individual mail messages from Information best settings??

Hi

I'm restoring individual mail messages from Information Store backup but what are the best settings in the restore job, I already have a successful backup but which options must be checked.

-When restoring individual mail messages and folders, restore over existing messages and folders 

-Dismount database before restore 

-Commit after restore completes  

-Mount database after restore 

Note: I'm trying to restore a single message. BE 11. Rev 7170

HH,

You can leave the defaults -

Restore over existing messages and folders - unchecked  (you can check this if you don't want duplicate messages)

Dismount the database - unchecked

Commit after restore - checked

Mount database after restore - checked

Since it is only a single message you don't have to worry about Log recovery options.

Both Exchange Backup & Restore are successful, and here is what has been done:

-Run Exchange B2D instead of B2T.

-Straight Forward individual mail messages restore using the above settings in the restore job.

Restore Job is completed successful.
