Restoring mailboxes to users in a different domain

Hi, as part of an overhaul in our company I need to move everyone's mail on Exchange 2K server from domain 1 to domain 2.

I have no spare server so must backup the existing one, then wipe it, reinstall win 2k server & exchange, create new users and then recover everyone's mail from backup.

I could create a whole load of pst files and move everyone's email to these, but this could take more than the weekend I've allowed for it, so...

I have BackupExec 9.1 with Exchange server Agent - Can I use Mailbox restore with redirect to do this, or will domain security prevent me from restoring mailboxes from users of domain 1 to new users in domain 2?
