i have a question about the pre and post commands.
What makes them run?
Is this the BE Agent who runs them?
Our problem is that we are running be10d server and we want to backup a database on a linux host.
We know that be server cannot make use of the pre / post commands.
Our idea was to use a batch on windows which use plink to connect to the linux host and start the script.
After the script finishes the backupjob can start.
We are getting authentification problems.
when the ralus tries to execute the pre / post commands - ok, its not possible to run the scripts like we wanted to.
