Hi,

I have upgraded the BE server from 10.0 version to 10.d.

The clients(remote systems) are not upgraded. They are still with 10.0 version.

Everything is working fine. But one exchange server mailbox backup only is not getting completed.

The BE server is also an Exchange server,where the backup of Storage grp,public folder&mailbox backup is going thro fine.

Another sql server backup and file backup from different clients are also working fine.

But only one exchange server which is a remote client backup - MAILBOX backup is not getting completed. In the same server, Mail Storage Group backup is getting backedup.

What could be the pbm? The job status just says running.

Pls. help.

Hello,

It seems that the remote exchange server mailbox backup hangs. What account are you using to connect to Exchange? Ensure that it has admin rights as well as Exchange full admin rights. It should not be hidden from the Global address list. It should also have its own unique mailbox.

Also check if you get any errors in the Windows event logs or any error alerts in backup exec.

Updated the remote agent on the server. The problem got solved.
