The backup then hangs. The backup status in Veritas is "running" however it is not performing any operation. I cannot even cancel the job. It stays in "cancel pending state". The only way to kill the job is to stop the Backup exec services. Tech Support has told me to apply Service Pack 1 for Backup Exec.

This problem is intermittant. The job will run fine one day and then hang the next two attempts at a backup.

We are runniig Oracle 9.2.0.4 with SAP 4.0b and Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello,

Have you installed Sp1? If no then please install it and also reinstall the remote agent and then verify.
