I recently was trying to restore a computer using a SDR *.ISO on a virtual machine.
The ISO booted and complained on a non-existing network interface.
I was able to load the drivers for the virtual network card from a CD and the network interface appeared with a typical name and a green mark.
But, still it does not have an IP-address assigned.
How can I restart network services in this situation. I am hoping that then the machine gets an IP-address and i can continue trying to restore from a backup.
