SP1 for 5520 causes old hotfixes to be redetected.

SP1 seems to have caused the Veritas Update site/tool to think that I need to reinstall Hotfixes 4, 6,7,8 & 10.

I reinstalled them and it still thinks they need to be installed. I'm assuming that this is because these updates were rolled into SP1, but the update program doesn't realize this. I couldn't really find anything that mentioned weather these hotfixes were rolled into the SP or not.

Any ideas?

Great, so does this mean that I shouldn't install SP1 until they get this ironed out?

In the words of good ol' dad, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

On the other hand, if it is broke, look and see if your problem is addressed by SP1. There are 6 or so fixes listed at the bottom of the download page. I can only assume that these are new fixes aside from the old fixes they rolled up into SP1.

Well, it looks like they fixed the update site. It no longer says I need the old updates. To bad you don't get points for bringing a problem to their attention huh?
