In Backup exec 11.0 and 11d I have seen license keys for Microsoft SQL 2000, but the machine being backed up has SQL 2005 installed. Is a new license key required in order to backup the 2005 SQL?

Good morning Cameron,
The SQL2000 license works for both SQL2000 and SQL2005.

Yes, the agent works with both 2000 and 2005, though it only mentions 2000 in the agent's name.
