SQL Database consistency checks have failed (Backup Exec 2012)

I have had this problem for a week now. I am trying to backup a SQL database that is no more than 5GB. The error code is as follows.

"Final error: 0xe0008443 - One or more SQL Database consistency checks have failed."

I have researched all the threads on this forum but the "ARITHABORT" option as enabled on the database that is failing but still nothing. I have done manual SQL backups but I would like to get this working on BE. The database as well is being used every weekday. Also all permission tests check out.

Thanks, I have never seen that article through all the google I have been through.

Going to give that a shot tonight since no one will be on the database then thats when I can play around with it. Will give results tomorrow.

Thank you all for the help. However I was not able to try those solutions. The problem is to do with the software that writes to the database. Found this out after long phone calls with the company.
