Hi again.
Got a new question. This time about a service running on our backupserver wich I belive is linked to the CPS server.
Backup Exec Continues Protection Indexing Service to be exact.
I noticed this service eats up about 500 to 800 MB ram and uses about 300MB virtual ram.
It also uses up a lot of CPU. Somewhere around 10 to 80% going up and down.
Is this normal? Should I expect this for the future when I run the CPS server?
I know the demands from this server is pretty high but our current server is sufficient I think. 2GB ram 3GHZ CPU and lots of disc.
I do run Backup Exec also on this server so CPS and BE is running side by side. Is that a bad combination?
Any hints or suggestions are welcome.
Regards
Conny
