Hi.
I run a windows smallbusiness 2008 on a esxi 3.5 U3. I have installed backup exec 12.5 and run all updates available on liveupdate on that server, after the reboot the whole esxi server stops with a purple screen.
I have a adaptec scsi 29320 card and a hp tape drive connected to the server and if I remove the tape drive from the virtual guest the server starts ok again.
If I disable the backup exec services and attach the drive to the server again then the server starts ok.
Is there any way to get this combination of hardware and software to work together ???
