We have a Win2k Server with Veritas Backup Exec 8.6 installed connected to a IBM LTO. Unfortunately, the Win2K server crashes. We only have a fairly recent backup of the entire "Backup Exec" folder under "Program Files". The catalog informaiton is also inside the backup.
May I know by reinstalling my server OS (Win2K Server) and reinstall Backup Exec 8.6 and copy back the entire Backup Exec folder from the backup, will this put everything back to normal?
