Service Account being locked out periodically

Hello

I have been trying to get Backup Exec 2014 to backup a new database on a SQLEXPRESS 2014, when now both the accounts I have been trying to the backups with have started locking up. Both are AD accounts. I have tried changing the passwords in AD and in the Backup Exec application, but to no availe. This is causing problems with the regular backups. Is there anything particular I should do? do I need to remove the Remote Agent and reinstall? When, besides during a backup, would the Backup Exec try to login with the credentials it had for the account? Also, even if I put the same password back in, do I need to restart any service?

You don't have to restart any service if you change the password of credentials.

When you change the password of the service account, do you change the password in BE also ?
