I am running windows 2003 R2 with Service pack 2. When the server reboots the Backup Exec Services do not start automatically. I have checked the event viewer and have found the following entries:
First Entry:
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Backup Exec Server service to connect.
Second Entry:
The Backup Exec Server service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Thrid Entry:
The Backup Exec Job Engine service depends on the Backup Exec Server service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
