Services not starting

We are using v8.5 and we are having a few problems where our backup has not been running for 5 days now due to the services not being able to start we just get an error message when we try and start them, we have tried rebooting several times and this has not helped. Has any one seen this problem or know any way we can resolve it,

Are the BackupExec services running as Administrator or as a named account?

If as admin, have you recently changed the Admin password?

if so, go to the services applet and change the startup properties of all the BackupExec services .
