Severe problems after upgrading to V10

We have upgraded one of our Servers (Win2000) from V9.1 to the current Version 10. After having done this we cannot read any of our old backup tapes (we're using Tandberg Streamer), nor can we initialize a new tape... The common error message is "bad block size"... The Tandberg is an internal drive and we have an additional external drive using DLT-tapes. Strange enough the tapes of the DLT drive are recognized without any problem. So we first thought the Tandberg drive might be the problem. So we've placed thi driveinto another machine where we have another Backup Exec license running: And it works fine there.

Having no access to old backups and being unable to create new ones is definitely BAD!

Could it be that we spoiled the registry during upgrade? Is there a way to build things back? Uninstall the software completely... remove _all_ registry settings?

Unfortunately the new license is an upgrade license. So we would have to reinstall the previous version first...

Any advice to get things going VERY much appreciated.

which SCSI driver versions are you referring to?

We did not change hardware. Does BE change SCSI drivers?

Hi,

With SCSI drivers we meant ,that when you connected Tandberg to another server and where it was working fine...
