Sharepoint restore not happening

I have BackupExec 2012 that I have been using to do the normal stuff but I have had a my sharepoint server crash hard so i am tring to restore the whole site to a different server but it keeps telling me that a resource is not found so after many attempts i deleted the back up job now I don"t have an option to restore the backup set so first how bad am i screwed second is there hope

Do you have any Sharepoint backup media that you can use to restore from?

Yes i backup to Disk

Have you updated Backup Exec with all the Live Updates available? Backup Exec 2012 revision 1798 Service Pack 2 has numerous fixes for Sharepoint Backups and Restores and is available via Live Update.
