Hallo!

Go to Tools ---> Options and check that you have this setting
If you don't have this setting, BE will create new .bkf files instead of overwriting recyclable ones.

Have you checked that your model of QNAP NAS is supported? See the HCL below

What size did you choose for the B2D files?
Is "Allocate the maximum size for backup-to-disk-files" selected?
What size we talking about at the NAS?

Sollte keinen Unterschied machen.
Die "maximum size for backup-to-disk-files" ist auf 750GB eingestellt.
Die Größe der Festplatte im QNAP ist 1TB

Since your model does not appear in the HCL, you should at the minimum test it with the B2DTest utility to ensure that it can be used for B2D folders.

When you said that the .bkf files are not overwritten, have you verified before the start of your job that they can be overwritten. It could be that they are not overwritten because their OPP has still not expired.
