Unable to open the item C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\EventCache\{50630029-8212-4680-B32F-5B763F1726B7}.bin - skipped.

I see some posts for almost the same question / file, but no real explanation. What is this folder / file? I could just exclude the entire eventcache folder if I know it is not needed, but I cant find out what it is. If I create a new job, it goes away, but then comes back after a week or so.

It might have something to do with the Microsoft SUS service who is using this files at the time of backup, at least that is what I found in the knowledgebase of http://technet.microsoft.com

Hello,

The file getting skipped is a temp cache file and since it is active, it is skipped.
