Slow Source Selections on Domain Controller

Hi all...

On one of my 4 domain controllers, when I try to select "System State" or "Shadow copy components", the application locks up for about 20 minutes and then comes back as selected.

Is there any way to speed this up?  The remote servers have the latest version of agents.

Hi Mark,

Is the remote agent publishing on this server back to the media server.   Go into start programs Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Server and select the Backup Exec Remote agent utility .  Click on the second tab Publishing make sure is enable and it has the name and IP address for the Backup Exec Media server.

Thanks for you reply....

The checkbox for "Enable the Remote Agent to publish information..." is checked.

The delay only occurs when I select "System State" or "Shadow Copy Components".  I can quickly see all other objects (c:\, database, etc...).

Any other ideas?
