Solaris 10 Backups - Only shows root

PTSD
Not applicable
We just installed Veritas 12.5 .  Upgraded the client on the Solaris server and now it only shows the root folder when you go to create a new backup job.  You can't browse the subfolders to select specific folders.  In 11D it allowed us to select specific folders on the Solaris server.  It will allow us to restore specific folders but the problem is we are backing up the whole server and not just the folders desired.  35GB of data we really don't want to back up.  In the old system there were Export directories set up in the client config.  We tried adding to the new client config and it did not work.  What are we missing.  Log file at startup is clean.  The Solaris server is running on VMWAre.   We suspect this is due to the VMWAre server having 4 NICS.

There's also one log in the normal log location which seems to be complaining about:

"GetAdaptersAddresses: error = 4, ret=-1"

Any ideas??

I am having the exact same problem.

Did you find a fix for this?

Another thread mentions using just the IP address of the Media Server.  However this does not work for me.
