Spanning tapes

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know what is the procedure to create spanning tapes and take a single backup on more than one tape . I use veritas backup exec 9.1 ,windows 2000 server OS and SQL server 2000 DB.

For stand-alone drives, just start the job, when I prompts for an Overwriteable tape, remove the first, and insert another

For a Library, just point the job at the library (no partitions) and BackupExec should eject the first tape, load a second, and continue automagically

Are you using a Robotic Library or Stand alone Device ?

Do you wish to configure drive pools ?
