Hi All,

Anyone comes across any news about the support for Domino 8 on Windows 2003 R2 64-bits machine ? Currently, this combination is not supported and can't see the icon in backup windows.

Many Thanks,
Thet

Don't know about the solution but we're looking for another software (Tivoli Storage Manager) for our backups since it's unthinkable that being in 2008 we still don't have support for Lotus on 64 bit Windows OS.

Thet,

We will release a 64bit Lotus Agent in Backup Exec 12.5 that will support Lotus version 8.01.  Backup Exec 12.5 is expected to release in the 4th quarter this year.

The hold up today is waiting on the Lotus API to be delivered to us for implementation.

In our case we're needing Domino 7.0.x 32bits support in a 64 bit platform. That's still uncovered as your comments indicates. A shame because the product is good in all the rest of aspects.

JCasares,

The Software Compatibility list is correct in that we do not support running 32 bit Lotus on in a 64bit environment.   In the pdf you can find this information on page 25 of 37 under 64 bit.

Well, I know the documentation but it's a platform that is available since years ago and I still can't believe you don't give support nor plan to do it when your competence does very well. No wonder they are IBM. :)
