Symantec 2010 backup Linux porblem

Disabled Ipv6 .... i belive that should resovle the issue .
IF it does then check for the following
Add the network mask on the linux server using the following command
# route add -net 'ip of media server netmask' 255.255.255.0 gw x.x.x.x
