Anyone have an ideahow I can get Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers to talk to my linksys NSS6000 to do a backup?

Does the BackupExec service account have rights to create shares/folders on the NAS - That is, if you logon to the media server as the service account, can you map the NAS share and create folders?
 
If so, run the Hardware Wizard and create one or more Backup-to-Disk folders on the share

I’m trying to get files from the NSS to backup to tape.

If the NSS is part of the Domain, giave the BackupExec service account rights to the shares
 
If it isn't, create an account with the same name and password as the service account on the NSS
