File server credentials fail.

I have 2012 installed on a 08 file server,  Ihave added a file ser to the list by the IP address.  I have a matching user account on my server for the Linksys nss6000  from my server I can hit the NAS by the IP with no issue.  I have the user account for the NAS added to the admin and backup group.  Every time I try to access the NAS it will not connect give me a error that the credentials have failed

Please remark Backup Exec connects not with the current logged in User as windows explorer does.

It connects with the System Login Account or with the service account for browsing.
