Where is one supposed to get in touch with the Backup Exec 10d support?
The help/contact form says that since January 2006 the only way to contact support is with this forum, bue here I don't get any answer.

Where are you Symantec? We paid a lot of money for your software and would like to get some simple answers...

Hi

I totally agree with you. The support from this forum is next to useless. My backup exec install is virtually unusable and despite numerous posts detailing exactly the steps I have taken, including steps from other similar posts, I have had no USEFUL replies from any Symantec staff. When someone did dain to reply I was asked for a dll version which I replied to within hours, since then I have had nothing for almost a week.

My install is less than 4 months old so I would expect some free support.

As explained earlier, you can have a phone support as well as e-mail support.
