Symantec linux problem

Hello,

We have problem with Symantec backup exec on linux.

We have version: Backup_exec_15_14.2_FP1 which is installed on Windows 2012 R2 server.

We successfully install Symantec agent client on Linux (we have Debian 8.2 64bit).

We can successfull login to linux from Symantec, but we have error: Failure to browse: ROOT.

I upload two images to see.

So, can you please tell what is problem, why we can't see list of root directories?

HI,

As per SCL your version of Debian 8.2 is not support with Backup exec 15

Check SCL here

Also please get me the below details and ouput

OS version

# cat /etc/*release

Check kernel version

# uname -a

Check ralus Version

# cd /opt/VRTSralus/bin

# strings beremote | grep -i version

Also Check if the permission for remote agent post the result if you get anything listed with permission denied

# find / -name beremote
