I have created a Synthetic backup policy and trying to associate the data that I want backed up. The documentation states that only file system resources files can be selected from the backup not database files. What files does the synthetic backup job consider system resource files? There are some files that it is not allowing me to add that I think it should. Like for instance I have a folder called agents for a program called Altiris.The folder has files with these file extensions in it .inp,.exe, .bin,.conf and .dll files. Do you think any of these files would stop me from accsociating a synthetic backup.
