TECH183112 States fix is SP1 but have to have Base 2012 first

Technical article TECH183112 "Upgrade to Backup Exec 2012 fails during database migration with Failure 1 running migration library 1", indicates that the fix to the problem is to install 2012 SP1.

The only download I can find is an 88MB file which when run states that only an older version of BE is installed, i.e. 2010 SP3.

Can anyone provide a fix for the above problem or advise where to download a full image of 2012 SP1, not just the SP1.

One of the Symantec employees said that the installation DVD for BE 2012 with SP1 integrated will be released soon.

Thanks PK, very frustrating and the failure informaiton and error codes don't give us any real clue or ideas how to make the upgrade happen, even something like a database repqir prior to attempting upgrade.

Will await the DVD; yet another large download, be nice if they said how to slipstream the SP1 into the original base DVD.
