For some time now I do experience this issue I cannot get resolved;
I've created some jobs that backup to disk, I created duplicate jobs for these jobs that backup to Tape.
So, First I do one backup to disk, when this is done he does a duplicate to tape.
The issue is that most of the times the second job to tape runs, but stays running at 60% of his job.
It does not fail or anything. I can also not cancell the job and I need to restart my server(ces).
When it's restarted the duplicate job even disappears from the Job monitor where the scheduled jobs are listed, I have to go to the job editor and resubmit the job! It does not matter which type of data I backup and I have used different LTO tapes (new ones now).
Can someone help me with this?
