The Backup Exec Remote Agent stops when backup of Exchange mailboxes starts

We have a site where we run Backup Exec Small Business server suite version 10.0 rev 5520.
There is only one server present so no remote backup is scheduled ever. During the backup, after the files have been backed up, the backup fails because, exactly when it starts backing up the Exchange mailboxes, the system service called "Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers" stops. It can be restarted manually afterwards and for a couple of days there seems to be no problem until the same error happens again. The error in the application log is "Faulting application beremote.exe, version 10.0.5520.15, faulting module BEDSMBox.dll, version 10.0.5520.0, fault address 0x0001dae4."

Hello,
Please check the event logs for th error message. Also verify if there are any media alerts in the alerts tab. Verify that the remote agent is running under LSA and the other BE services under domain admin.
NOTE : If we do not receive your reply within two business days, this post would be marked assumed answeredand would be moved toanswered questions pool.

There are no media alerts. The different services are running under the correct Log application.
The applicationn log starts with this error:
An error occurred while attempting to log in to the following server: "SERVER\SBSMONITORING".
SQL error number: "0011".
SQL error message: "SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
".
Followed by :
A device has failed to respond to CIM Provider commands. and then:
"Faulting application beremote.exe, version 10.0.5520.15, faulting module BEDSMBox.dll, version 10.0.5520.0, fault address 0x0001dae4."
