We are using BE 11.d on Windows 2003 server (32 bit), attempting to backup Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 (and later 2007) on a Windows 2003 server (32 bit); the databases are on a backend SQL 2005 Server, loaded on a Windows 2003 server (64 bit)...
We are running BE 11d 7170 & have updated all Remote Agents to the 7170 version. The only successful component to backup properly is Index DB on the portal site. Otherwise, we cannot get the Content, Services or User Profile DB's to connect during the Selections process. We have verified that the system account assigned to be used during the Backup Exec process has proper access to the databases on the SQL 2005 server, as well as the Windows 2003 (64 bit) server & the Windows 2003 server with SPS 2003 installed on it. We are able to backup the SQL 2005 Server databases & the Windows 2003 server (64 bit) properly as a whole.  Yet we receive the message in the heading of this thread. What else could we be missing??

Thanks...

Hi Scaveman,

I have the same issue, any workarounds for yourself so far?

Mines says it backs up about 1-3MB of data, not sure what it is.
