The network connection failed during the snapshot. Check the network, and then run the job again.
V-79-57344-65072 - The database server is not responding. Backup set canceled.
V-79-57344-65072 - The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.

Searched the Web and Your site to no avail, what does this mean and is there a solution?

Hello,
Please check if you can ping the two servers. Also check if there is packet loss when you run netstat -a.
Are any of the services stopped when the error occurs and are there any alerts.

Yes we could ping, no services were stoped. Any ideas?
