Transform error on uninstall

I tried to uninstall 9.1 keeping the BU jobs during the uninstall wizard.

Got an error asking for original BEWS media. Error re-applying transforms. I installed the 9.1 upgrade from 9.0. The ugrade was downloaded from Veritas. I tried reinstalling 9.1 again and even tried 9.0 again. Both times I got the transform error. Help! I need to get my backups running again! Can anyone tell me how to get around this error? Either so I can uninstall or install over whats left of the existing app?

i'm having this exact problem. is there a solution besides the reg hack? I'm also getting the transform error. Now veritas is not listed in Add/Remove programs, but is in the Programs list. I tried to install over what's left with no change. Any Help is appreciated.
