Unable to connect to remote HPUX machine

Running HPUX remote agent which worked previously. Suddenly and with no noticeable change in the agent config, we get the message on backups
"Access is denied to Remote Agent. Check the login account for the specified device."
Like I said, nothing was changed on the HPUX side nor from the Windows side. I can still see the HPUX boxes from the Backup Exec monitor, can choose files to back up and set them up. When the backup fires off, we now get this message.

Can anyone lend insight here? I've read all the messages about making sure both sides show both servers in the Hosts file but other than that, what might be hanging this up?

This has now been resolved. Checked login account under Network/Logon Account. Original installer had used a personal account for login. Account password had expired. Reset logon account to a static utility account. Backup now processes fine.
