We recently found an issue on our CPS sever in which snapshots were not being created correctly, to try and fix it we decided to try an uninstall. The uninstall failed and now we can't remove/repair/install a new copy.
Everything we try and launch the CPS install from the CD we get the error.
"An error 1624 was encounteredwhile trying to load the install package C:\windows\installer\1c6d65.msi. Review the install log..."
I've done some reading and other solutions with the same error are to fix an issue with the transform registry key. "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\8553FDDCB62DFB740A44BBD5AF17DA29\Transforms", but I have been unable to find this in the registry.
Any thoughts would be welcomend.

I did try this with no success. Though it's worth mentioning I couldn't find all the reg keys.
