Unknown Media + PV-124T

Hello, everyone.

I have a Dell PV-124T /w LTO tape running BackExec 11d on Windows 2003 server.

All inserted media (LTO) are not listed under online media. They are listed as unknown media under Robotic Lib/Dell/Slots/1-8. The Robotic Lib lists Dell1 - IBM1 & Slots. I guess this is an IBM drive branded as Dell. One thing I noticed was that the IBM1 is constantly flashing as "In Use" .

I ran the Inventory, scan, rename media.....I tried all available commands to get the tape online. They are in there but not online now.
What do I need to do to get the tapes show up in the media as online so I can do backup?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Go into the Backup Exec install directory and find the program called tapeinst.exe (default is Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec)

Run it, select the first option, Use Symantec tape drivers for all supported tape drives. Click next.

Follow the prompts (click next a few more times)  When prompted to install the drivers select Continue anyway.

Reboot the server, then attempt to use the library again.
